Waterbuck lodge in Thornybush reserve just outside Hoedspruit really felt like a home away from home. 8 gorgeous rooms that look out over the riverbed with beautiful homely cooked food and a comforting intimate atmosphere, which I really enjoyed.
The lodge is perched above the surrounds giving you the opportunity to see various animals walk by almost underneath you. We were super lucky the evening we were shooting the private dinner out on the deck when 2 elephants decided to join the shoot, much to my excitement! I really think they made the photo 🙂
