There is certainly one thing about Africa that everyone can agree on…and that is its absolute beauty. Even if its a couple of lone wildebeest or a sky filled with clouds, its most likely always going to be beautiful.

As I was going through my images from last week I couldn’t get over how many opportunities there were around us every day. From sunrise to sunset the opportunities were endless. One thing about going away with other photographers is that you normally see things in one way, but as soon as another creative mind comes along, your mind starts wandering and wandering in a good way! You start looking at things in a way that you didn’t look before. The trick to getting your creative mind out of your little bubble is to let go and open it up. You’ll find yourself trying new things, things you’ll possibly love and never stop doing, all from just a couple of creative minds coming together. This is where Photo-Africa comes into play, Gerry van der Walt and I have started a new business venture hosting creative photographic workshops and safaris to get creative minds together and start feeding off of each other while enjoying the African bush.
