This is my second time shooting Tau lodge – a favourite of mine. The last time I visited the lodge I saw 2 lionesses hunting a warthog at the dam in front of my room which was pretty incredible. Anybody who is keen to visit Madikwe will love the lodge. Tau has quite a lot of rooms and all of them look onto the water which makes for amazing game viewing right from the moment you wake up in your bed. One evening I photographed elephants outside my room at around 11pm, which was a beautiful experience for me. Just the elephants and I and the night sky.
Game viewing is always great in Madikwe and I truly believe it’s one of the best parks in the country – I can’t wait to go back. Enjoy the virtual trip to this stunning lodge.
