guinjatabay23.jpgI spent the end of 2009 and the beginning of 2010 in Guinjata Bay, Mozambique and what an absolutely beautiful place it is. I went up with Mike and we stayed at Guinjata resort which is (for any of you wanting to go up there) is amazing. There were palm trees practically everywhere you looked, the sea was turquoise blue (but with waves, which made it a bit more fun too!) and the sand was white. Mike did our first dives in the sea as well, which was, well interesting! The first was a drift dive which I really enjoyed but the second dive went a bit wonky! I ran out of air…ooops! Oh well, it was still fun, but I really need to work on my breathing! We also took a tiny little plane up to the resort which was to my surprise, very good – I have a fear of flying. The airport was also something amazing: one room with one guy stamping passports! Love it. All in all it was an amazing trip and I already want to go back.

Since the place was so beautiful I went a bit more arty than usual in my photographs, hopefully you think they work! Would love to hear your feedback! Chat soon.
