I shot Olivia and Ryk’s engagement shoot in Hartebeespoort at the Elephant sanctuary. The original plan was to have a shoot with the elephants but because of a last minute booking and light disappearing fast we didn’t have the chance to get them in on the action. But in all honesty I don’t think we needed them. The Elephant sanctuary is full of winding paths, forests and huge trees and is the perfect place for an outdoorsy shoot – just the place for this couple and also something wonderful for me – I adore nature and get excited about anything I can photograph within it. And with the golden light filtering through the trees I knew this was going to be a beautiful shoot!

Ryk and Olivia are a super sweet couple and I had a great time with them. I can’t wait to shoot their wedding! Hope you like the pics guys 😉
