I decided to start adding monthly desktop wallpapers for you to download to your computer so that you can enjoy the African bush all month long! The idea stems from the collaboration between Photo-Africa and Moya Wa Tenga which promises to revolutionize photographic safaris and workshops in South Africa. I can’t wait to get going with our tours – some of which include day trips to the Pilanesberg, Kenya next year and the Cape Winelands in November.
Wildlife photography has a lot to do with patience, an eye and a bit of luck. You’ll be able to learn a lot more about wildlife photography at our upcoming Pilanesberg workshop in September. This months wallpapers are by Gerry van der Walt and I and show a sleepy lion and some luckily still hippos peeping their heads out in the Okavango, which by the way is an awesome place for wildlife photography.
