I finally got my beautiful 11-18mm a few days ago and so it was time to go and try it out so I picked up my kit and headed into the cold winter night to shoot some scenes. Even though there were no animals involved, nor people I surprised myself at how beautiful my surroundings actually are. I often get caught up that the only place to shoot is when I’m out of Joburg but in actual fact it’s not and I’m quite happy with the shots I got last night. And yes, I love my new lens despite the freezing temperatures!
