I absolutely loved every minute of this shoot at Inyati. Set in such a beautiful part of our country, Inyati is only an hour flight from OR Tambo, landing on a strip in the middle of the Sabi Sands, what a pleasure.
The lodge is intimate – Inyati consists of seven luxury chalets and four executive chalets. Each air-conditioned chalet features en-suite bathroom with twin hand basins, separate bath, shower and accomodates 25 guests in total and looks over the Sand river from every angle, allowing game viewing opportunities to literally be at your doorstep at every minute of the day. They even have a resident leopard who likes to make himself at home every so often. Nyeleti (the leopard’s name), has been spotted sunning himself on the decks of the rooms as well as just strolling across the front lawn. What an absolutely amazing thing to see!
The Sabi Sands is known for it’s leopards and I wasn’t dissapointed either. I got to lay my eyes on two beautiful 4 week old cubs as well as their gorgeous mother. Other wildife sightings included, lions, elephants, rhino, buffalo and all the usual plains game. So for a 2 day shoot it was pretty successful! If you are after excellent game viewing I’d suggest you book a trip here asap.
