After reading a great blog post by Gerry from Photo-Africa a while ago it inspired me to write my own photographic bucket list. There are so many places in this world I want to go to and so many things to see, it’s almost inevitable that my list will keep growing until the day I die. We are lucky enough to live in such a beautiful country and I don’t think I could live anywhere else in the world, maybe someday somewhere else in Africa, but I don’t think I could ever leave the continent. A new venture with Gerry from Photo-Africa will put me in some of these places I wish to go to and I can’t wait for it to get started and running!! But more on that next week…be sure to check back on Tuesday to see what the big news is…
My Photographic bucket list will I think always start with this place: Galapagos Islands. The strange island that houses animals that live nowhere else on earth and have survived through everything. I can’t say anything else but it’s magical in my opinion!
Here are the rest of my photo dreams:
- Northern lights
- Polar bears and penguins
- The great migration
- Tigers in India
- Black holes of Andros
- Landscapes from a plane or helicopter
- The roof of Africa (Mount Kilimanjaro, I can tick one yay!) and Mount Everest
I think I have a bit of a thing for climbing mountains…but after climbing Kilimanjaro and the excitement has moved aside I need a new adventure…what’s yours? The opportunities are endless!
