My recent trip to Mozambique, Ponta do Oura, surprised me with an awesome amount of insect life as well as the little lizards and geckos who ate them. Butterflies were absolutely everywhere, fluttering by anywhere from literally lying on the beach to restaurants on top of dunes. They were absolutely beautiful. But don’t be fooled, it’s not like they would sit still for me, I ran around the forest trying to get shots of them and they would just fly away from me every time. Eventually I sat down (only to be absolutely eaten by mosquitoes in the process, you should see my legs, I look like I have chicken pox) and waited for them to come to me; but it was worth it. I absolutely love Mozambique, it is such a beautiful country and every time I’m back I can’t wait to go again. Here are some of the shots of the Fairyland I was for the past week.
Nice pic’s Kerry ::: Your “Micro” photography is really good !!
Cheers Michael
Absolutely stunning Kerry. The lovely green gives the compellation such an earthy yet fresh feeling and the blue in the background adds a spiritual touch to the photos. Once again, you have managed to create some true master pieces. With love, Ineke
