I orginally met the gorgeous Christa through a friend of mine, Gerry van der Walt from Wild eye. Christa is Gerry’s little sister and I was so happy when she chose me to be their wedding photographer. Christa and Martin got married at Mongena game lodge in Dinokeng game reserve. Only about an hour away from Joburg this is the perfect spot for a bush wedding if you’d like to stay close enough to home. We had a beautiful sunset making for amazing light in their couple shoot and the reserve provided ample opportunities for stunning photos, from golden bush to the huge amazingly still dam and of course the beautiful couple. Christa, Martin and the entire wedding party had such a blast at this wedding, you could just feel the joy. I don’t think the dance floor was ever empty! I had a great time shooting here and I can’t wait to again! Here are a few pictures from the day.
