Wonder often. Wander always.
Hi, I’M KERRY. FOLLOWER OF ALL THINGS WILD AND FREE. EXPLORER FANATIC, CHALLENGE LOVER AND PHOTOGRAPHIC ARTIST, WITH A LOVE FOR SHARING THE BEAUTY OF TRAVEL.
Africa and the Indian Ocean islands.
My photography has allowed me to travel and photograph lodges and hotels all over the continent as well as the Indian Ocean islands.
I have also worked with tourism agencies such as SA Tourism, Seychelles tourism and Mason’s Travel (Seychelles leading travel agency).
“Just wanted to let you know we are really thrilled with your images. In particular your interior shots. Have had enough experience with various photographers to know what a skill that is. Also, given the fact that they are tents and so much harder to “manage” with the natural light. You have certainly captured the richness we were wanting to portray along with the setting.”
Let’s make people want to travel.
To sense the waves, to feel the deep echo of cultures and people before us, to live in their history and to be one with nature. To expand peoples’ horizons and to enjoy life as it should be lived, exploring, learning, creating and loving.
African Artwork was started by international travel photographer, Kerry de Bruyn in 2016. After traveling and shooting all over the African continent, she developed a massive archive of wonderful, storytelling, authentic African images. Her combined love for interior design made African Artwork a possibility and a passion. Our physical gallery is in Northriding, Johannesburg.
Now, African Artwork represents a select number of photographic artists who are just as in love with Africa as I am. We work alongside many Interior designers and decorators and continue to provide many lodges, hotels, offices, and homes throughout the world with original, beautiful photographic artwork.
