Documenting lives

unwanted1.jpgSome much can be seen in a photograph if you look into it and at the same time so little can be told.  Intrigue is one of the many things photographers strive to achieve (I know I do!). For someone to look at your photograph and not just look at it but look into it. Ansel Adams said A photograph is usually looked at – seldom looked into and that is what I strived for in this photo set. I’ll let you think about who this woman is, what she is thinking and where she is going…a culture unknown, an unwanted marriage? I’d love to hear what you think!

    Hi Kerry,

Great images and a very interesting sequence. The blown highlights on the veil makes for a very ‘harsh’ mood. Nice!

Who and what? No idea but in some of the images it almost looks like she has a faint grin / smile on her face.

Nicely shot. Who is she? Where was this??

    Bye 4 now!
